Description

GK8 is seeking a Head of Strategic Institutional Accounts to lead our institutional engagement efforts in the Americas, with a strong focus on U.S. banks. In this role, you will drive strategic relationships with leading financial institutions, acting as both a trusted advisor and a sales leader. You will collaborate closely with product, marketing, and delivery teams to align our deep-tech offering with the evolving needs of Tier 1 banks. This is a client-facing, onsite role based in New York, ideal for someone with a strong banking background who knows how to navigate complex internal structures and drive deals to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage long-term relationships with senior stakeholders at leading U.S. banks
  • Lead complex sales cycles of deep-tech products to financial institutions
  • Translate advanced technology into business value during early-stage conversations
  • Represent client needs internally and influence product roadmaps accordingly
  • Serve as the face of GK8 to institutional clients, regulators, and partners
  • Align client strategies with GK8’s growth objectives in the Americas
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure successful delivery and adoption
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a client-facing or sales role within a U.S. bank
  • 5+ years of experience selling complex technological solutions to financial institutions
  • Deep understanding of institutional banking culture, workflows, and organizational dynamics
  • Ability to build trust and credibility with senior executives and decision-makers
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on execution skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities


Advantages

The base salary ranges included below will be commensurate with candidate experience, expertise and local market. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise. At GK8, we maintain a total compensation philosophy which consists of a competitive base salary, annual bonus, and equity incentives.

Salary Range

$180,000 – $225,000 USD
