Description

GK8 is seeking a talented and experienced Software Team Lead to join our growing engineering team. In this key role, you’ll lead a team of backend engineers, take full ownership of infrastructure-related projects, and help build secure, scalable systems for digital asset management. You’ll guide your team through the entire development lifecycle—from architecture and design to implementation, code review, and deployment—while upholding the highest standards of quality and performance..

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of backend engineers
Take full ownership of infrastructure tools and core platform components
Drive projects end-to-end: from planning and design to execution and delivery
Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices
Collaborate with Product, DevOps, and Security teams
Recruit and onboard top engineering talent
Support team members’ professional growth

Requirements

At least 10 years of hands-on software development experience
Minimum 4 years of experience managing backend engineers
Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience with C++11 and above
Strong leadership and communication skills
Proven architecture and system design capabilities
Broad technological knowledge and a passion for impact-driven development
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
