GK8 is seeking a highly motivated NOC Engineer to join our support team in Israel. In this role, you will monitor and maintain critical systems and environments, respond to real-time incidents, and support a wide range of technologies. This position is ideal for a Computer Science student in the final year of studies who is eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, 24/7 environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and operate central monitoring systems for multiple environments and technologies
  • Respond to system alerts and incidents in real-time and escalate when necessary
  • Perform initial troubleshooting of network, server, and application issues
  • Conduct log analysis and basic scripting or development tasks
  • Configure and maintain Windows/Linux server environments
  • Support cloud and hosting infrastructure
  • Document incidents, actions taken, and resolutions accurately
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure system health and continuous improvement


Requirements
  • Final year Bachelor’s degree student in Computer Science from a university, with a GPA of 80 or above
  • Availability for ~25–28 hours per week, including 2–3 night shifts (8pm–5am) and Friday shifts
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with Linux/Windows environments, networking, and APIs
  • Basic understanding of cloud environments and hosting infrastructure – an advantage
  • High level of written and verbal English – a must
  • Ability to work independently, under pressure, and in a structured, team-based environment
  • Willingness to undergo training during daytime hours
